The choreographers are Eva

. They work closely together
with the composer Henry
Mex, who has an own concept
of music, that connects different sites called “Geomusik” and
with Susanne Ogan, who does a lot of organization.
They will be dancing on the Spree River and Canal Systems near the Hauptbahnhof
(Central Station) and Humbolthafen. The performance concept is that there
will be three groups which start in three different places near the main train
station and the harbor at 5 p.m. Route 1 – (for children) will start
at Rachel-Hirsch-Ufer. Route 2 - will start at the corner Europaplatz/Friedrich-List-Ufer
– and move along the eastern side the Friedrich-cunning-shore. Route
3 – will start at Alexanderufer move along Rachel-Hirsch-Straße
and Preuß-Brücke. All will meet in one place - at Washingtonplatz
(Washingtonsquare) for the climax and conclusion of the performance.
The team is expecting approximately 60 dancers in total. The three groups
of 10-20 dancers each have been rehearsing separately since March. There will
be a main rehearsal on 19th June and a dress rehearsal on 25th June at 2 p.m.
for all groups. The composed music will come from 4-7 different boxes in different
sites to guarantee a special experience. The global part and the end are rehearsed
and ready with some adaptations in the musical concept. Globus.
